The calm of the Allegheny Reservoir
and National Forest was disrupted on June 12 and 13 with the
first annual American Power Boat Association Stock Outboard
Division Championship races.
The races attracted 120 individual competitors from throughout
the Northeast, Midwest, and Florida. Racers competed on the
reservoir to the thrill of local and tourist spectators.
